About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Time Chef De Partie to join our team at Flutterbies Cottage Cafe in Tyalgum NSW 2484. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a vibrant and welcoming cafe environment.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook a variety of cafe-style meals, including hot and cold dishes, using fresh, high-quality ingredients

Follow established recipes and presentation standards to ensure consistent quality and taste

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction

Assist with menu planning and development, providing input on new dish ideas and improvements

Undertake other kitchen duties as required to support the smooth operation of the cafe

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a cook or chef, preferably in a cafe or similar hospitality setting

Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Passion for using fresh, seasonal ingredients and creating delicious, high-quality dishes

Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

Strong team player with a positive and collaborative attitude
