About the Role

Mera Chemicals is looking for an experienced Chemical Manufacturing Operator to join our team at our Sunshine West production facility. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient manufacturing of high-quality chemical products used across various industries. What You’ll Be Doing

Operating and monitoring chemical production equipment to ensure efficiency and consistency.

Conducting quality checks and making necessary adjustments to maintain product standards.

Recording production data, including batch details and equipment performance.

Assisting with setup, cleaning, and maintenance of production equipment and facilities.

Identifying and reporting issues or potential process improvements.

Collaborating with the team to meet production targets.

Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Participating in company training and external team-building activities as directed by management.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience in chemical manufacturing or a similar industrial environment.
✅Current Forklift Licence (required).
✅Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence (required).
✅ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
✅ Ability to interpret technical specifications and production data.
✅ Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
✅ Good communication and teamwork skills.
✅ A relevant trade certificate or equivalent qualification is preferred.
