An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Associate to join a highly regarded national law firm’s Banking & Finance team in Sydney. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Act on behalf of banks and non-banks in commercial banking and finance transactions.
• Draft and negotiate security documentation and bespoke facility agreements.
• Conduct due diligence, including reviewing material documents such as leases, agreements for leases, and pre-sale contracts.
• Take ownership of tasks like drafting and negotiating terms of facility agreements.
• Engage directly with clients, including opportunities for client-facing work and business development.

About You:

• At least 2 years’ experience in banking and finance, property, or commercial law.
• Strong experience in drafting and negotiating documents, with a clear understanding of commercial transactions.
• Excellent communication, people, and drafting skills with a genuine enthusiasm for learning and development.
