We’re on the lookout for a confident and experienced Operations and Compliance Supervisor to join our busy team! If you’ve got a solid background in transport and logistics and know how to keep things running smoothly – this could be the perfect role for you.

You’ll play a hands-on role in coordinating daily operations, supporting drivers, solving customer issues, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal standards and making sure everything stays on track. Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily dispatch, routing, and tracking of trucks to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

Resolve customer complaints and enquiries with professionalism, escalating when necessary.

Provide quotes for both existing and new customers, ensuring maximum profitability.

Assist with RFPs and tender submissions for new contracts.

Monitor and enforce compliance with transport laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations

Maintain accurate records for fleet maintenance, driver logs, incident reports, and audits

Liaise with government agencies on licensing, inspections, and regulatory updates

Lead internal audits and implement corrective actions as needed

Provide training and support to drivers and operations staff on compliance and safety protocols

Promote and enforce a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Verify pricing accuracy, addressing any discrepancies promptly.

Oversee NHVAS compliance in Mass and Fatigue, including scheduling to ensure drivers meet rest requirements.

Communicate job details clearly and promptly to drivers.

Attend and contribute to management meetings as required.

Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new drivers.

About You

Proven experience in transport operations or logistics, with a strong background in compliance

Strong understanding of NHVAS and fatigue management standards.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Strong problem-solving ability and customer service focus.

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), transport management systems (TMS), and compliance software
