We're seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to ensure a safe working environment for our engineering clients H&S team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high health and safety standards, policies, and procedures across the entire workforce (approximately 2,000). This position will be a permanent, full-time role.

This position is with a large organisation focusing on engineering, construction, and sustainable development. They have a wide network of operations across all of Victoria and are known for their commitment to safety and their employee first approach. This role will offer 3 days in the office and 2 days from home and is based in Frankston.

Description

• Successfully partner with business unit leaders to ensure all safety protocols are met.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits regularly and report back any potential hazards.
• Provide safety training and awareness sessions for the staff.
• Investigate and report any health and safety incidents.
• Participate in safety reporting meetings to managers and executives.
• Monitor sub-contractor compliance with safety procedures and policies.
• Provide advice and guidance on health and safety matters.

Profile

A successful Health & Safety candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience in a similar role within a health and safety role.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and standards.
• Exceptional communication skills to relay safety procedures and standards.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
• Capability to deliver safety training and awareness programs.
• Ability to handle emergency situations efficiently and calmly.

Job Offer

• Salary range of $110K - $115K plus superannuation.
• 3 days in office and 2 at home.
• Permanent, full-time role.
• Frankston location.
