The Lorian Group have partnered with a Sunshine Coast based, custom home and commercial builder - delivering a mix of new custom homes, townhouses, and small commercial projects across South East Queensland. These projects are typically up to $10 million in value. This arm of the business was founded 5 years ago, and is backed by a company who has been in the industry for over 50 years. The Director brings over three decades of hands-on construction management experience. The business has quickly built a reputation for quality work, strong subcontractor relationships, and a down-to-earth, team-first culture.

Your New Role
As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from tendering, takeoffs, management of costs through to completion. You'll work closely with other estimators, the site teams, as well as the General Manager. The company typically has 5-6 projects on at once, from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast. These projects include concrete structure, suspended slabs, and typically a high-level of finish.

What You Need to Succeed

• Estimating experience for a custom home or commercial builder (within the QLD market preferred)
• Ability to manage tenders up to $5m-$10m
• Proficient with use of estimating software
• Good attention to detail, and communication skills to deal with a variety of stakeholders
