The Role
Joining a non-profit organisation with strong values and vision, this role will oversee the smooth day-to-day operations across corporate services while working under a supportive corporate services manager. A truly diverse role, every day will be different and create opportunities to both utilise an agile skillset and learn new skills, as you gain exposure to many different corporate functions within the organisation.
Main responsibilities include:
- Coordinate work health and safety - ensuring relevant staff have first aid certificates, preventing hazards, documenting incidents and ensuring the office is WHS compliant
- Office and facilities management including fleet management, purchasing work equipment and coordinating any repairs/maintenance in the office
- HR administration, such as assisting with payroll, budgeting, onboarding new staff and maintaining employee files
- Ad hoc administration support to senior staff such as diary management and arranging meetings/events
Requirements
- Strong experience in a similar corporate services or office management role (exposure to facilities and office management, HR administration and finance/payroll highly regarded but not essential)
- A demonstrated track record of coordinating WHS in the workplace
- Eagerness to learn, wear many different hats operationally and tackle anything flexibly, while working in a start-up environment that's ever changing and not always clearly defined
- A strong work ethic, with initiative and the ability to work autonomously under a supportive manager
- Highly organised, with a commitment to always going above and beyond for the team
- Strong proficiency in the use of systems with excellent attention to detail and following processes
- Team-oriented, with a can-do, empathetic and calm attitude
