Leading Cyber Security consultancy seeking a proven Business Development Manager to join their team and drive revenue through strategic client account management and acquisition. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven individual with a strong understanding of the cyber security landscape to join a business delivering cutting-edge solutions in areas such as penetration testing, threat intelligence, red teaming, incident response, and compliance advisory (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.).
Our client is a national specialist Cyber Security consultancy providing offensive and defensive security services to organisations across critical infrastructure, finance, SaaS, and mid-to-large enterprises. With a team of CREST and OSCP-certified consultants, they’re known for delivering technically robust solutions grounded in real-world threat intelligence.
As they expand their national footprint, they are looking for a sharp, technically fluent Business Development Manager (BDM), to take ownership of new client acquisition and revenue generation.
Desired experience & traits:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in selling Cyber Security consultancy services or software products
- Strong understanding of the cyber security landscape – knowledge of services such as red teaming, security posture assessments, SIEM/SOC, or cloud security is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and/or PCI DSS.
- Proven success in consultative, solution-based sales to technical and C-level stakeholders.
- Confident communicator with the ability to translate technical services into business value.
- Driven, autonomous, and passionate about staying current in the cyber space
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within mid-market and enterprise accounts.
- Develop relationships with key security stakeholders (CISOs, IT Directors, Risk Managers).
- Pitch tailored services including penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, SOC-as-a-Service, incident response, and GRC consulting.
- Collaborate with technical pre-sales and delivery teams to develop proposals and scopes of work.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead generation through to close.
- Represent the brand at cyber security events, webinars, and industry briefings.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to pipeline forecasting
