Senior Development Manager (Luxury Apartments / Multi-Res) – Sydney CBD – Circa $250-280k + Bonus + Co-investment opportunities

They have exchanged on multiple sites in Sydney and are looking for an experiences development professional to lead their newest projects.

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will have full responsibility of:

• Lead project with ownership from an end-to-end view, as well as new business product that is acquired and enters the portfolio;
• Manage existing developments to ensure alignment with overarching strategy;
• Add value from an acquisition perspective, highlighting opportunities in the market, helping in the technical DD;
• Assist broadly across development leasing where necessary from a commercial leasing perspective if site is mixed-use;
• Internal and external stakeholder management. Establish and maintain healthy relations with head contractor and key consultants pertaining to the project;
• Detailed design management and visibility over tenders, contract administration, procurement and cost management of projects;
• Management of project feasibilities and cost reporting;
• Assisting with sales and project marketing campaigns and strategy;
• Assist on key projects providing general assistance to Development Director and Head of Development as well as vested capital partnerships where required;
• Undertake additional responsibilities ad hoc as required.

Expected background and education requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in any of the following; development, construction, engineering, project management urban design, business/ commerce, land economics or other relevant academics;
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in the development management industry having seen multiple projects through from acquisition to completed delivery;
• Proven understanding of and experience in project and financial management in property development and construction industries;
• Proven understanding of and experience in cost planning, cost control, forecasting and commercial administration;
• Demonstrated experience in successfully leading project teams to achieve agreed outcomes.
