In this leadership role, you will:

• Manage a portfolio of sophisticated clients, including groups with multiple entities and complex tax structures.
• Review financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
• Provide strategic advice on structuring, tax planning and succession planning.
• Mentor, supervise, and develop a team of accountants (both local and offshore).
• Oversee billing, manage client budgets, and work closely with Partners on client strategies.
• Solve complex taxation matters, including CGT, Division 7A, and cross-border issues.
• Enhance client relationships through proactive service and strategic insight.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across internal processes and client services.

Ideal requirements:

• 8+ years of Australian public practice experience.
• 3+ years in a leadership role at a mid-tier accounting firm.
• CA qualification with a locally obtained accounting degree; additional certifications valued.
• Advanced technical knowledge in Australian tax, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Exceptional communication skills - professional, polished, and client-focused.
• Experience managing onshore and offshore teams.
