We are a boutique mediation practice (Clark & Associates Mediation Services) and family law firm (ACM Legal) based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, known for our client-focused approach. Due to recent growth, we’re looking for a part-time legal practice manager to join us. The Role
As our Practice Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the firm’s success by managing the day-to-day operations, implementing systems, and supporting a culture of excellence and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee practice operations and workflow management

Liaise with legal and administrative staff to ensure seamless file progression

Manage billing systems, and financial reporting

Drive improvements in processes, compliance, and client experience

Support strategic planning and business development initiatives

A genuine interest in growing your profile and referral network within the legal community.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position working a 7-day fortnight (3 days one week, 4 days the next — or equivalent hours across the fortnight - including the possibility of working school hours). There is potential to move into a full-time role in 2026, along with a remuneration review.

You will work closely with our Legal Director, Kate Clark, and be involved in a variety of matters including family dispute resolution, restorative justice mediations, and parenting and property matters.

We offer a mix of office attendance and work-from-home flexibility, and our casual office means you can dress for your day.

About You:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a law firm

Strong understanding of legal practice operations and regulatory requirements

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Proficient with Smokeball legal practice software

Calm under pressure, highly organised, and genuinely passionate about team wellbeing and client care
