The Studio Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Balwyn party studio, ensuring the delivery of high-energy, hands-on, and creative experiences for children. This role involves managing staff, maintaining studio facilities, coordinating events, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Studio Manager plays a key role in upholding the Fizz Kidz mission of exciting and empowering children through interactive programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Studio Operations Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Balwyn Studio to ensure smooth functioning.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in compliance with Fizz Kidz policies.
Coordinate studio scheduling for birthday parties, holiday programs, after-school programs, and special events.
Ensure all equipment and materials are stocked, maintained, and ready for use
Team Leadership and Development
Recruit, train, and manage studio staff, including party hosts and facilitators.
Develop weekly staff schedules and manage replacements for absences.
Provide ongoing training to ensure staff deliver exceptional service and adhere to safety protocols.
Foster a positive team culture that aligns with the Fizz Kidz values of energy, creativity, and engagement.
Customer Experience
Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and clients, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
Ensure all parties and programs meet or exceed customer expectations by monitoring feedback and implementing improvements.
Actively engage with children during events to ensure a fun and memorable experience.
Financial Management
Manage studio budgets, including tracking expenses and revenue from bookings.
Handle client invoicing and ensure timely payments for services rendered.
Monitor financial performance across studios to meet profitability goals.
Marketing and Community Engagement
Promote Fizz Kidz services through local marketing initiatives such as social media campaigns and community partnerships.
Assist in developing promotional materials to attract new clients.
Represent Fizz Kidz at local events to increase brand visibility.
Compliance and Safety
Ensure adherence to child safety policies, including allergy management protocols.
Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and facilities.
Train staff on emergency procedures such as first aid or handling allergic reactions.
Preferred Skills
Background in education, childcare, or event management is highly desirable.
Familiarity with marketing strategies such as social media promotion.
Work Conditions
Flexible schedule including weekends to accommodate party bookings.
Travel between studio locations as required.
