Hybrid work
Udemy is headquartered in San Francisco with global offices in Australia, India, Ireland, Türkiye, and other US locations. Our robust hybrid work model spans San Francisco, Denver, Ankara, Dublin, and Melbourne.
This hybrid position requires two days per week in the office at the nearest hub (Melbourne).

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing defined regional tactical marketing plans which enable achievement of strategic priorities, pipeline targets, and revenue targets within this region.
You have experience in tactical marketing across the APAC region and have delivered results from previous demand generation and event marketing programs.
About this role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Specialist to join our APAC team. This role reports into the Head of Marketing, APAC and will also work closely with the global Udemy Business Marketing teams including Events, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Performance Marketing, PR and Customer Marketing teams.
What you'll be doing:
Assist in executing event marketing and demand generation programs including Account Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns, hosted events, industry tradeshows, webinars, PR and other programs to support regional quarterly sales pipeline and revenue goals
Localise and adapt our library of content (eBooks, guides, webinars, tools, industry reports) for the APAC market
Support the development and re-purposing of relevant marketing content in support of the Customer Success and Sales teams as required.
About your Skills
Creative Thinking: Generating innovative ideas for marketing campaigns and problem-solving.
Branding: Developing and maintaining a strong brand identity and messaging.
Organization and Time Management: Managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Marketing Automation Tools: Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Marketo, or Mailchimp for automating marketing tasks.
CRM Systems: Basic understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems like Salesforce is a plus.
Graphic Design Tools: Basic skills in graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for creating visual content are a plus but not required.
What you’ll have
2-4 years of B2B marketing experience in the APAC region (internships and volunteer work count!)
Experience working in or with a high technology sales department or Saas B2B business environment, with a basic understanding of sales cycles
A proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative and achieve consistent results
Comfortable working with a distributed team across regions
A high level of attention to detail, with experience managing projects and meeting deadlines
Familiarity with event marketing, demand generation, paid marketing and basic analytics.
Fluent in English; other language skills are highly desirable but not required
