Your new company

Your new company, located in QLD they specialise in commercial construction. They have been operational for 20 + years and handle a variety of projects including new developments, fit-out and refurbishment. They are currently seeking Contracts Administrators after winning multiple projects across SEQ.

Your new role

In your new role you will be:

• Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of construction contracts and subcontracts
• Monitoring contract performance and ensuring adherence to contractual terms and conditions
• Coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders to address contractual issues and mitigate risks
• Maintaining comprehensive contract documentation and record-keeping systems
• Providing support and guidance to project teams
• Assist with progress claim and variation preparation and control
• Raise, issue and close out purchase orders
• Purchase order and invoice reconciliation
• Administration of the project HSE system

What you'll need to succeed

• 2 + years of experience as a Contracts Administrator or in a similar role within the commercial construction industry in Australia.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, subcontracts, and related legal principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in Industrial Warehouse's preferred (not required).
• Ideally proven expertise using project software, Cheops is preferred (not required.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate contract records and documentation
