About the Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Sales professional with a Mechanical or Design Engineer to step into a dynamic technical sales role, focusing on leading-edge simulation software solutions used within the manufacturing sector.
You will be joining a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment where your technical expertise in FEA, CFD, and DEM will enable you to engage credibly with engineering and manufacturing clients. This is a career-defining opportunity for someone who is passionate about engineering but thrives in a consultative, client-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the manufacturing industry.
Conduct tailored software demonstrations and solution presentations.
Be able to demonstrate a mastery of sales and pipeline management to meet sales and revenue targets set for the role.
Manage and the sales pipeline to create meaningful and accurate sales forecasts.
Proactively prepare call lists and make calls to prospective new clients for the purpose of meeting with the right key stakeholders to discuss their critical business issues and opportunities with our product lines.
Ensure accurate and timely records of all client contact is recorded within the CRM.
Ensure strong relationships are maintained with industry stakeholders/clients at various forums within allocated territory as a representative of the business.
Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or design engineering (mandatory).
Solid working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and Discrete Element Modelling (DEM).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical information into commercial value propositions.
Strong problem-solving ability and a consultative approach to client engagement.
Highly motivated, self-starter attitude with a passion for technology and innovation.
You must have a full driver’s licence, access to a motor vehicle as travel to and from various client sites will be an essential part of the role.
Salary and Benefits
$100K - $120K for a base salary pending experience.
$10K car allowance.
Additional Superannuation.
