Product Sales Representative - Victoria
Location:
Melbourne, Australia – with regular regional and occasional interstate travel.

AQUEA is a manufacturer of award-winning swimming pool plumbing hardware, including our concealed V-LOCK skimmer lid range. Our experienced team develops AQUEA’s products in Australia, with the aim of simplifying compliance and ensuring safe, beautiful pools through refined design and rigorous engineering. As part of our small team, you will drive sales growth in Victoria, build relationships with pool-builders and landscaping trades and grow brand recognition.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Sales:
Promote and sell AQUEA’s pool plumbing & landscape hardware to pool building and landscaping professionals.
Identify, pursue and close new sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
Develop and execute sales plans; prepare regular sales activity reports.
Customer Relationship Management:
Actively establish and develop strong relationships with new customers.
Maximise sales opportunities by nurturing existing customer relationships.
Provide exceptional service and product support to meet customer needs.
Market and Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of AQUEA’s products and their unique value propositions.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
Travel and Relationship-Building:
Regular travel to meet prospective customers and maintain existing relationships.
Attend industry events, trade shows and conferences as required.
Comfortable meeting customers anywhere from the building site to the conference room.
You will possess:
A commitment to achieving company growth and sales targets, while being an integral part of the AQUEA team.
A drive to develop long-term relationships through excellent customer service, representing AQUEA with integrity and honesty.
A motivated, proactive, results-driven approach with a willingness to learn about AQUEA products and swimming pool construction.
Possess a practical, hands-on approach and strong technical aptitude for building products.
Proven sales experience, preferably in the pool building, landscaping, or construction industries, with a demonstrated ability to meet targets and goals.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
High organization skills with the ability to work efficiently remotely and autonomously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with competence in CRM software to maintain accurate customer records.
A thirst for personal growth and professional development within a fast-growing, market-leading business.
Mandatory Requirements:
Willingness to travel regularly with single/multiple overnight stays.
Valid full Australian driver's license.
Consent to police, alcohol, and drug tests.
