About the role

Gumnut Kidz Kindergarten is seeking a talented and passionate childcare professional to join our team as a Full-Time Diploma Position. This exciting role is based in Narellan, NSW and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children. As a full-time position, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our students while contributing to the overall success of our kindergarten.

What you'll be doing

Implementing engaging and age-appropriate educational programs that support the cognitive, physical, social and emotional development of children

Providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning, creativity and positive behaviours

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student progress, attendance and compliance

Collaborating with parents, guardians and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child

Actively participating in professional development opportunities to continuously improve your skills and knowledge

Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children in our care

What we're looking for

A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

Demonstrated understanding of child development, learning theories and effective pedagogical practices

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care

A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
