Position: Team Leader - Adult Day Program & Children's School Holiday Program

Role Overview:
As the Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and actively participating in the delivery of high-quality, person-centred supports. You will lead and support a small team of support workers, ensuring that all participants receive the support they need to thrive.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Leading and managing a team of support workers, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Developing and implementing individual and group programs, focused on social and life skills development.
Maintaining strong communication with the management team and participants key stakeholders.
Providing hands-on support where necessary to ensure the success of program activities such as swimming, woodwork, and cooking life skills.
Guiding and mentoring the team to deliver flexible, high-quality supports to participants, particularly those with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
This is an active role, requiring direct participation in program activities. You will not be confined to a desk but will be engaging with participants and staff regularly, providing leadership and support in a dynamic environment.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in supporting individuals with disabilities, particularly those with complex physical disabilities and challenging behaviours.
Strong knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Experience in medication administration.
First Aid and CPR certification, along with current WWCC, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail in reporting and documentation.
