We are a small local business; the owner Anthony has 16 years in the industry covering a broad range of jobs. while we all have tasks to do during the day, we aim to get the done and finish up so we can go home to our family. The day to day of our company varies a lot. One day you might be on a small job replacing some flooring, working autonomously, the next day you might be working on a month-long renovation project with all hands-on deck.

About the role

A lot of the work is carried out in house so you’ll get the chance to enhance your skills in areas you may have never explored, plastering, tiling, flooring, rendering, landscaping, all possible tasks and keep the boredom away. As the team leader you will be driving the brand new company van filled with tools, you'll be responsible for delegating tasks to other workers, ensuring jobs are done in a timely and satisfactory manner. you will need to be a skilled problem solver, adapting to the day-to-day challengers that arise.

Qualifications & experience

cert 3 carpentry and joinery

current sa drivers license

white card

8 plus years on the tools

previous team lead and problem-solving experience

Tasks & responsibilities

working within to team to achieve a successful outcome on each job

managing your team including delegating tasks and giving instuctions

meeting deadlines on day-to-day tasks Aswell as long-term project timelines

carrying out all sorts of renovation tasks, from framing and roofing, to plaster and flooring

work autonomously to achieve a successful outcome including problem solving and sourcing materials

reading and interpreting plans

completing site safety documentation Aswell as maintaining a safe work environment
