About the Position

Currently an opportunity exists for a career driven Leading Hand Carpenter to join them in a key role. The ideal candidate will be passionate about craftsmanship and have experience working on high-end architectural homes. As a Leading Hand, you’ll play a key role in overseeing and guiding the carpentry team, ensuring quality, precision, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

Leading a team of carpenters on-site, ensuring the highest standard of work is achieved.

Reading and interpreting detailed architectural drawings and plans.

Managing the daily operations of the carpentry team, delegating tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Overseeing the construction of complex, custom carpentry elements in luxury homes, including framing, cabinetry, and finishing.

Ensuring all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.

Troubleshooting on-site issues and providing solutions to meet project requirements.

Collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to maintain smooth workflow and timelines.

What we're looking for:

Carpentry trade qualification

Minimum 5 years residential carpentry experience in custom or architectural residential builds

Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills

Leadership qualities and a desire to grow
