NEONICO is seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand Carpenter to join our team in Melbourne. The Role:

This is a key opportunity for a Leading Hand Carpenter who thrives on variety, is confident leading small teams on site, and wants to be part of an ambitious and growing company.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating carpentry works across a mix of bespoke luxury homes and premium commercial venues — delivering everything from structural framing to detailed finish work, while supervising general site activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute carpentry works: structural framing, fix carpentry, and fine detailing on architecturally designed homes.

Oversee day-to-day carpentry workflow and support junior trades and labourers.

Supervise general construction tasks and maintain site organisation and cleanliness.

Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.

Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and workmanship at all times.

What You Bring:

Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent).

Demonstrated experience in a Leading Hand or senior carpenter role, particularly in luxury home construction.

Genuine building know-how; including strong technical knowledge across structural and finishing carpentry.

Experience across a range of project types, including commercial construction.

Capability to supervise small teams and communicate effectively with site staff and subcontractors.

Positive attitude, strong problem-solving ability, and pride in your work.

White Card, full tool kit, valid driver's licence, and reliable transport.
