With multiple communications branches, it offers an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on nationally significant campaigns.
About the Role
As an EL1 Campaign Manager you will lead a small, high-performing team to develop, deliver and evaluate impactful communication strategies and advertising campaigns for the Australian public.
Campaigns may include public relations and content strategies, government information and behaviour change initiatives, media management, and digital communications across social media and websites.
This is a 12-month hourly rate (labour-hire) contract with potential of extension.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and evaluate strategic communication and advertising campaigns.
- Create and edit content across a range of platforms – web, social media, digital channels, media releases and information products.
- Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships to achieve communication goals.
- Maintain awareness of strategic, political and operational issues that may impact campaign delivery.
- Mentor and guide communications team members to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Manage external service providers, oversee complex projects and budgets.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience managing Government advertising campaigns or strategic communications projects.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, expert communications environment.
- Exceptional project management, writing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in the health sector or on health-related campaigns (highly desirable).
