About This Opportunity
The Marketing and Communications Officer assists in the development and implementation of communication and marketing campaigns to promote Brigidine College. This dynamic role includes event coordination, copywriting, graphic design, community liaison, maintaining the College’s online media presence, and engaging with the College Alumnae program.
Permanent full-time, term-time plus 4 weeks
76 hours per fortnight
Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm or as negotiated
Some out-of-hours work required to meet the College requirements throughout the year (including after-hour events)
Target start date 18 June 2025, to allow for a smooth handover
Base hourly rate $38.2921 - $40.1553 + 12.75% superannuation + leave loading
As the appointment is a term-time only position, working term-time plus 4 weeks, all non-term times are taken as leave without pay other than the period of annual leave, which is taken during the Christmas school holiday period.

About You
To be successful in the role you will have:
Tertiary qualifications at associate Diploma / Diploma level (degree preferred) with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education and training.
Exceptional communication skills with excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to engage professionally with a diverse range of people.
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Premier Pro or Rush (or equivalent).
A high degree of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including management of mailing lists and mail merging for mail outs.
Ability to schedule work to meet deadlines.
High degree of initiative and enthusiasm.
A valid Queensland Working with Children Check Positive Paid Employee Notice.
Current First Aid Certificate.
