About the Role
We are seeking a Communications Manager to develop and implement integrated, strategic communications plans that promote and protect Swinburne University's reputation as one of Australia's leading institutions.

In this pivotal role, you will report to the Deputy Director of University Communications and be responsible for creating innovative, engaging, and purposeful communications campaigns targeting staff, students, and external audiences.

As a key business partner, you will collaborate closely with specific portfolios and maintain strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will work across various functions to ensure the successful achievement of our communications objectives.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated excellence in developing and executing creative, results-driven communications strategies and campaigns that support organisational goals and objectives
  • Demonstrated excellence in managing the production and distribution of innovative, engaging and purposeful content across external, internal and social audiences
  • A good track record and experience supporting and developing a team through change
  • Experience in the operational requirements for a content and communications team including quality assurance and systems management

Qualifications
Tertiary qualification and substantial relevant experience in corporate communications, PR, media or a related field
