About the Role

You’ll manage the full procurement lifecycle — from forecasting materials to negotiating with suppliers and ensuring on-time deliveries.
Working closely with operations, estimating, and warehousing, your mission is simple: keep everything flowing without disruption.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with high levels of ownership and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Forecast and plan material needs for fencing projects (3–10 weeks ahead).

Source and procure all required materials (stock and custom).

Liaise daily with the storeman to manage packing, deliveries, and yard flow.

Raise and follow up on RFQs to suppliers.

Compare quotes and negotiate the best pricing.

Manage procurement cash flow and prioritise purchases strategically.

Maintain a clean, organised yard to support efficient workflows.

Sign off deliveries and verify material accuracy.

Align procurement timelines with scheduling and operations teams.

Maintain supplier records, pricing, and delivery schedules.

Provide feedback to estimators on quote accuracy and supplier performance.

Conduct monthly stock audits and manage replenishment orders.

Support quoting, scheduling, and invoicing as needed.

About You

Experience in procurement or supply chain (construction/trades ideal).

Strong organisation, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Confident using spreadsheets, order tracking, and scheduling systems.

Self-starter with ownership mentality and adaptability.

Familiarity with construction or fencing materials highly regarded.
