The opportunity

IFYS has an exciting opportunity for a recent or soon to be university graduate ready to begin their career in Human Resources.

As the People & Culture Administrator, you will play a critical role in providing administrative assistance to the P&C Advisory Team as they work through day-to-day HR operations and HR projects.

You will work and learn alongside our team of People & Culture Advisors and the Executive Manager of People & Culture and gain the foundational knowledge required to launch your career, gaining the skillset of a true HR Generalist.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the HR inbox and employee queries in line with our internal processes.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
  • Assist in writing and delivering HR documents to employees
  • Assist with probation reviews and performance management processes
  • Support the Advisory team as requires on projects and process improvements
  • Assist in assuring that IFYS is compliant in Roster Consultations in accordance with the Award
  • Provide other administrative support as necessary

Requirements of the role

  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or similar, or current study close to completion
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Good general IT skills, and a high level of computer literacy
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel and Word

Must hold or be willing to obtain if successful

  • Valid Queensland Driver’s License with no restrictions
  • QLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
  • Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)
  • National Crime Check (a new check will be completed through IFYS systems)
