Are you ready to launch your career in business administration? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a supportive and professional team in Mackay as an Office Admin Trainee.
This is your chance to gain hands-on experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification in Business Administration, all while being mentored by industry professionals.

Report directly to the Business Manager
Key Responsibilities:
General reception and front desk duties
Invoicing and raising purchase orders
Managing accounts payable
PPE ordering for internal and field employees
Preparing and submitting payment claims
Organising medicals for onboarding employees
Following up on outstanding timesheets with field employees
Managing onboarding and induction of internal staff (hardware, software setup, uniforms, etc.)
Coordinating compliance documentation and ensuring candidates are mobilisation-ready
Scheduling inductions, travel, accommodation, and liaising with clients for mobilisation
Supporting recruitment with onboarding communications and mobilisation timelines
Maintaining accurate records in the Bullhorn database
Assisting with general admin duties including office supply management and correspondence
Coordinating training and safety briefings for new hires
Attending meetings and taking minutes for internal use
Supporting technology and equipment function (computers, printers, systems, etc.)
Preparing and managing weekly compliance reports
Participating in risk management, audits, and work site visits
Promoting workplace safety, compliance, and sustainability practices
Acting as a liaison between recruitment and field employees
Supporting the manager and team with additional administrative tasks
Helping Gross Profit team members stay focused by handling administrative support

Willingness to learn and grow within the role
