Lawson Elliott Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a leading professional services business that are experts in their specialised industry. Due to an opening within the business, the Brisbane team is excited to welcome in a confident Finance Officer to hit the ground running and join a dynamic and knowledgeable Accountant to look after the day-to-day accounts operations.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have broad range of responsibilities including:

End-to-end Finance Officer duties

Accounts Payable/Receivable

Bank and balance sheet reconciliations

Intercompany journaling

Financial statements

Trust accounting

Weekly & month end reporting

Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Managing the accounts inbox & respond to queries

Ideal Candidate:

2+ years proven work experience as an Finance Officer or similar role

Degree/Qualification in Accounting & Finance preferred

Experience working in a high-volume environment

Strong and clear communication skills

Experience with using accounting software's

Advanced excel skillset

Must have a high level of organisational skills and proven ability to work well under pressure

Strong interpersonal, analytical and numeracy skills

Demonstrate strong initiative

Must be a team player and can easily collaborate with internal staff members

Ad hoc and admin duties as required
