Sous chef required
The Seahorse inn based on the outskirts of Eden, NSW is looking for a full time sous chef to join our team.
We are looking for someone to work closely with our current head chef. The candidate must be able to run the kitchen on the head chefs' days off and provide impute with menu and special ideas.
Ideal candidate would have previous experience with functions/ weddings, Pans, Larder, fryer, fresh seafood and wood fire grill. Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment.
Previous coastal experience a bonus.
Accommodation can be provided.
Salary dependent on skill set and experience

Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with our menu standards.
Assist in developing new recipes and menu items.
Ensure a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
Assist in managing inventory, order supplies, and minimise food waste.
Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide an exceptional dining experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role.
Culinary qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and cuisines.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Passion for food and commitment to quality.
