This role requires a strong leader who can handle both front-of-house customer service and back-of-house workshop operations. What You’ll Be Doing
Front Desk & Customer Service:
Be the Face of the Shop – Greet customers, check them in, and ensure they have a smooth experience from start to finish.
Scheduling & Coordination – Manage bookings and optimize workflow for efficient workshop operations.
Customer Communication – Keep customers informed on their vehicle’s progress, explain repairs in simple terms, and handle follow-ups.
Sales & Invoicing – Provide accurate quotes, process payments, and upsell additional services where appropriate.
Customer Satisfaction – Ensure every customer leaves happy and encourage repeat business through outstanding service.
Workshop & Team Management:
Daily Workshop Oversight – Ensure mechanics have the tools and support needed to complete jobs efficiently.
Parts & Inventory Management – Maintain stock levels, order parts, and minimize downtime.
Health & Safety Compliance – Keep the workshop clean, organized, and fully compliant with safety regulations.
Quality Control – Inspect completed work for accuracy and uphold our high standards before returning vehicles to customers.
Team Leadership & Culture – Motivate, guide, and support the team, ensuring a productive and fun workplace environment.

What We’re Looking For
Mechanic’s License (REQUIRED) – You must be a qualified mechanic to apply for this role.
Customer Service Rockstar – You have a natural ability to connect with people and keep customers happy.
Strong Organizational Skills – You can juggle multiple tasks, appointments, and mechanics’ workloads with ease.
Leadership & Team Management – You know how to motivate, coach, and lead a team to deliver high performance.
Problem-Solving Mindset – You stay calm under pressure, tackle challenges head-on, and keep things moving.
Tech-Savvy – Comfortable using booking software, invoicing systems, and basic computer programs.
Sales & Upselling – Confidently recommend services that will benefit the customer and their vehicl
Attention to Detail – From paperwork to quality control, you don’t miss a thing.
Experience in a Mechanic Shop – Prior experience in an automotive setting is essential to understanding the shop flow and expectations.
