Our client is a local business with a strong customer base and plenty of work. Due to growth, they are looking to take on a Workshop Manager to join the team.

About the role
Are you a skilled truck mechanic with leadership experience? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join the team as a Truck Workshop Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership position in a bustling workshop.

Duties

• Supervise and guide the workshop team of 15 to ensure efficient operations.
• Work closely with Foreman and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
• Building relationships with customers
• Professional ability to deal with Manufacturers.
• Ensure jobs are completed on time and to a high standard, conduct toolbox meetings, and manage breakdowns and drop-ins.

Skills and experience

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Previous experience dealing with customers and building strong relationships.
• Previous experience as a workshop manager or other similar senior role
• Work closely with the parts department, warehouse, and service advisor.
• Must have hands-on experience with trucks and heavy vehicles.
