We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Office Manager and project administrator to join a small, growing business that competes in residential and commercial maintenance contracts.
Working alongside the director, this is a challenging role and no day will be the same!
It not only has a bookkeeping and general office and administration duties, but it will also include project administration of current maintenance works.
This role is pivotal in the success of the business as you will not only be across most of the business operations, but your input will be valued in how the business grows and moves forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Being the first point of contact for the business; you will be the liaison between tenants/ owners and clients, body corporates/ strata business.
- General Booking and general back-end office administration; maintaining and renewing insurances etc.
- Implementing administration policies with the director as the business grows
- Project administration duties; including completing building contracts and other relevant paperwork to deliver projects for clients
- Assisting with preparing tender documentation to assist in winning work.
- Ordering and sourcing trades and materials.
- Social Media and Website management (helping social media managers with material and content)
- Executive support
- Perform general ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience in office administration with the construction industry is a MUST.
- Experience with project administration is highly desirable given that it is a blend of both office management and project administration
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative duties.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and GoogleSuite (Sheets, Docs).
- Must have full working rights in Australia
Things to consider:
- Salary guide is between $75k - $85k + super (is negotiable)
- Office Location: Liverpool region
- There is no work from home. This is a office based role.
