Responsibilities:

• Manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
• Provide practical, solution-focused engineering advice on road, drainage, and infrastructure projects
• Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and project documentation for design and construction projects
• Engage and manage subcontractors and sub-consultants, ensuring adherence to contract requirements
• Conduct project debriefs and recommend improvements for future projects
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships through exceptional service and communication
• Provide technical support to the Business Development team, including assistance with tenders

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering | RPEQ is highly desirable
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in civil engineering, preferably with road, water and infrastructure projects in Australia
• Strong technical knowledge of road engineering standards, including Austroads and DTMR standards (desired)
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software, such as 12D and AutoCAD
• Experience working with local government projects is advantageous
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
