What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs.

• Preparing tax returns for individuals.

• Assisting with the preparation of BAS returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, sole traders and SMSFs.

• Assisting with preparing MyLeave, FBT and IAS returns for all entities.

• Liaising with the ATO and clients as required.

• Set up of SMSFs.

• Running wages for clients.

• Bookkeeping for clients.

• Conducting audits of not for profit entities.

• Consulting with clients.

• Other ad hoc tasks as required.

🎯 Who You Are:

• You are an Australian citizen or you have Australian permanent residency.

• You have worked in public practice in Australia for a minimum of 5 years.

• You are looking for a long-term role with excellent career progression. No flies on you!

• You love people (and tax of course)!

• You have experience setting up SMSFs (advantageous).

• You have a limited financial services licence (advantageous).

• You are proficient in Xero (including Xero Tax) and MYOB.

• You have a sunny disposition. Life is truly wonderful!

• You have excellent attention to detail. Nothing gets past you!

• You take great pride in your work and have good business acumen.

• You are organized with great attention to detail.

• You love to save clients’ money (legitimately of course)!

💰 The Perks:

• $40 to $45 per hour plus super (depends on experience).

• Joondalup location.

• School hours with flexible working arrangements (including working from home during school holidays).

• This is not your “run of the mill” type CA practice. Nothing boring here!

• Report directly to the principal – no unnecessary red tape and no stuffy environment!

No KPI’s and no meetings! Sorry, timesheets are unfortunately still necessary.
