About the Role:

Dortec Windows and Doors is seeking a highly skilled and experienced part-time Accountant to join our team. This role involves maintaining precise financial records and supporting various accounting and administrative functions to ensure the seamless operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and produce Management Monthly Reports by the 5th of each month

Execute general accounting duties, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations

Maintain accurate and current financial records and reports

Manage the monthly Work-In-Progress (WIP) calculations

Oversee asset management and depreciation schedules

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience as an Accountant, preferably within a small to medium-sized business

Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll

Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
