The Role -

• Automate infrastructure operations and DevOps processes, ensuring solutions
remain relevant and compliant with company policies, standards, and frameworks.
• Implement IaC using CloudFormation / CDK capabilities, including establishing and maturing design guardrails, frameworks, and patterns.
• Maintain and improve monitoring and alerting of cloud-based applications.
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to provide real-time insights into system health and performance.
• Support and troubleshoot reported network issues & analyse and evaluate complex cloud network designs and architectures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues for cloud hosted applications and IaaS.
• Improve and create tools, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure consistent architectural alignment (including Networking, Linux, Windows & containers).
• Maintain centralised documentation for technical staff (guides and knowledge
sharing for designs, system builds, support, administration).
• Refine processes, introduce innovative solutions, and improve system
resilience.

YOU! -
• Deep experience in DevOps & cloud infrastructure management in AWS.
• Deep experience in deploying/maintaining/operating Linux servers (esp. RHEL).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including but not limited to:
o Compute: EC2, ECS, Lambda, Load Balancers, Kubernetes
o Security & Monitoring: IAM, SCP, Identity Center, CloudWatch, CloudTrail,
Config
o CI/CD: docker, CloudFormation / CDK / Terraform
o Automation: Image Builder / packer, Service Catalog, CICD tools
o Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch
o Database & Storage – S3, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB
o Networking – VPC, International Connectivity with Cloud WAN
• Design, implement, and deploy docker containers and their orchestration systems.
• CI/CD pipelines of cloud services and general process automation through scripting (Bash / Python / Node.js).
• Experience with hybrid infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance (cloud vs. on-premises).
• Deep familiarity with cloud pricing models and knowing what designs/systems are most cost effective within cloud environments.
• Experienced advocate of various open-source software initiatives.
• Experience in designing resilient and scalable systems (fault-tolerance, loadbalancing, clustering, et al).
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and a deep curiosity in technology.
• Proactive and self-motivated, using initiative to find and deliver innovative solutions.
• Experience in security practices in the cloud.
• Familiarity with business continuity and disaster recovery techniques.
• Flexible attitude and ability to perform under pressure within a small team or independently.

• Cloud Security and implementation of security in CI/CD pipelines
• Landing zone development in AWS
• Experience in SQL Server and database administration

• Data architecture & best practices in AWS

• Familiarity with compliance against ISO 27001, GDPR, or HIPAA
