QSolutions Group is a Health & Safety Management Consultancy Business providing services across private and government sectors throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Our Head Office is based in Townsville, Queensland and this year we are celebrating 20 years in business.

The Role

As an entry-level position, this role would be suited to individuals who are highly motivated, self-driven and has an interest in learning. The successful applicant/s will work with our consultants in delivering our services and working on:

• Developing documentation to meet client and legislative requirements (such as policies, procedures, safety plans, safe work method statement and project documentation)
• Assisting in the development, implementation, and training in Management Systems to meet quality, environmental and health & safety standards
• Providing support to clients in preparing, achieving, and maintaining accreditation with regulatory bodies (such as ISO, TMR, OFSC, DIPL, PQC, NHVR)
• Acting as a WHS Advisor on client projects (responsibilities may include, conducting prestart meetings, toolbox talks, task observations, site safety audits, maintaining compliance of health and safety systems, project records management, assist in implementing and improving safe work practices)
• Provide support to consultants / senior consultants in achieving client and project deliverables as required
• Assist in ISO audits on behalf of 3rd party JASANZ accredited bodies
• Supporting the business in overflow tasks and project deliverables where required

Reliable transport to/from work and a current drivers’ licence is required for this role (access to a company/hire vehicle will be made available for work-related travel only).

Important: This role requires away travel to client offices / projects throughout Australia (primarily Queensland).

Your Experience

Whilst no specific experience is required for this role, we are seeking individuals who have strong communication skills, are comfortable with engaging with clients, have a willingness to learn/participate in formal training and are self-motivated with a drive to excel in their professional development.

• Professional presentation and representation of self

Formal Qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety such as a Certificate IV or higher are desirable, however; formal training will form part of the role.
