Fixed Teeth Australia is looking for an experienced Dental Technician to join our team on the Gold Coast. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, high-end dental laboratory alongside a skilled and supportive team.

If you can confidently set up a full/full denture, this role is for you, if you are competent with EXOCAD and full arch design this role is definitely for you.

3-5 years experience preferred, but not essential- but we are open to candidates with less if they demonstrate strong skills and enthusiasm.

About the Role

As a Dental Technician, you will be responsible for the fabrication and repair of various dental appliances, including dentures, bridges, and splints. This position is best suited for an acrylic technician with experience in both conventional and implant-supported prosthetics.

With a sister clinic opening in Brisbane soon, there will be occasional travel between Gold Coast and Brisbane as part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Full and Partial Denture Construction – Fabricating high-quality removable prosthetics.

• Whitening Trays & Splints – Manufacturing custom-fit appliances.

• Waxing Up Aesthetic Cases – Supporting cosmetic and full-arch implant restorations (All-on-X).

• All-on-X & Implant Prosthetics – Experience preferred; CAD/CAM skills using Exocad are advantageous but not essential.

• Ivocap/Ivobase Injection System Experience – Highly regarded but not required.

• Collaboration with Clinicians – Ensuring all prosthetics meet functional and aesthetic standards.

• Compliance & Quality Control – Meeting Australian dental industry standards and patient-specific needs.

• Lab Maintenance – Ensuring equipment is operational and sterilization protocols are followed.

• Keeping Up with Industry Trends – Staying updated with modern materials and technology.

Minimum Requirements

✔ Qualifications – Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or higher in Dental Technology (or equivalent).

✔ Experience – Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental laboratory setting.

✔ Technical Expertise – Proven ability to fabricate dentures from start to finish using industry-standard tools and materials.

✔ CAD/CAM & Exocad Skills – Preferred but not essential for All-on-X implant restorations.

✔ Collaboration & Communication – Ability to work effectively with clinicians and technicians.

✔ Attention to Detail – Commitment to precision and high-quality craftsmanship.

✔ Adaptability – Willingness to learn and work with modern dental technologies.

✔ Availability – Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional travel to Brisbane.
