About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our highly skilled team at Sid Kothari Prosthodontics in Coorparoo, Queensland. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our specialist and ensuring the smooth running of our practice. This is a full-time hours, offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and patient-focused healthcare environment.

What you'll be doing

Assisting dentist during examinations and procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and preparing materials

Sterilising and disinfecting instruments and equipment according to strict infection control protocols

Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records

Ordering and maintaining dental supplies and inventory

Providing exceptional customer service to our patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their dental visits

What we're looking for

Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a similar dental practice setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively with the dental team

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care

Proficient in using dental software and computer systems

A genuine interest in the dental industry and a passion for providing exceptional patient-centred care
