About the Company

Our Client is a well-known, reputable developer of estates and contracting housing, with over 25+ years experience in the industry. Building primarily in the Northwest, Southwest and Western Sydney market, our client is looking to expand their construction team and bring on an experience Maintenance Technician to oversee and manage the 90-day maintenance and warranty repairs.

About the Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and undertaking minor repairs and maintenance matters that fall under the 90-day warranty period.

Duties will include:

• Assess any maintenance requests and carry out site walk-throughs during the 90-day warranty period
• Undertake minor and simple repairs
• Arranging and liaising with specialist trades for works such as tiling, carpentry work, gyprocking, plumbing or electrical
• Manage and oversee specialist trade repairs as required
• Act as a point of contact for customers during the 90-day warranty period, providing a high-level of customer service throughout
• Maintain relationships with trades and suppliers

What You Need

• Certificate III in Carpentry (essential)
• Certificate IV in Building and Construction will be highly regarded
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role with a residential builder
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detailed orientated and a strong understanding of the NCC & BCA
• Current drivers license
