About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the sales team at Rococo IT as Sales and Business Development Manager. In this casual role (moving towards permanent), you will be responsible for driving new business growth and developing strategic partnerships across the Melbourne region.

What you'll be doing

Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand Rococo IT's client base within education

Building strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry

Developing and executing effective sales strategies to convert leads into new business

Attending trade shows to promote the business and engage new leads

Providing regular reporting on sales performance and pipeline activity

Contributing to the overall sales and business development strategy for the organisation.

What we're looking for

Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably within the IT/technology industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders - someone who can think on their feet

Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a consultative approach to sales

Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities

Proficient in using CRM systems and sales-related technology

Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. business, marketing, or sales) is preferred but not essential.
