
Business Development Manager / Sales Representative

Relatively new to the market and with exciting growth opportunities ahead, we’re seeking a passionate and driven Sales Representative to help take the business to the next level.
Reporting directly to the owner, this is a key position focused on building relationships, expanding our client base, and driving sales growth. You'll work closely with our network of designers, hoteliers, and developers to offer tailored furniture and finishes solutions that meet their project needs. You’ll also expand the business into new markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with existing and prospective clients to conduct sales presentations and project discussions
Develop and maintain strong relationships across all stakeholder levels
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and industry connections
Prepare concepts, quotes, tenders, and sales orders
Represent the brand at key local and national industry events and trade shows
Attend regular sales meetings and contribute to strategy discussions
Maintain accurate records within the company CRM
About You
You’re a self-starter with a natural flair for sales and relationship building, and you understand the unique demands of the commercial design and fit-out sector. You enjoy working autonomously while contributing to a close-knit, high-performing team.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven track record in a business development or sales role within furniture, interiors, textiles or a design-related product category
Strong existing network within A&D, hotel/hospitality, developer or retirement living sectors
Impressive presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated with strong initiative and commercial acumen
Experience working to and achieving KPIs related to revenue, conversion, presentations, and leads
We are offering this position as a 24 hour / 3 day per week Contract employment opportunity, but are willing to explore Part Time employment for the right candidate. If sales performance and conversion is strong, we are open to the position moving to Full Time plus commission for the right candidate.
This position requires the candidate to be able to travel across Australia to conduct client meetings and presentations. Candidates located in Sydney or Melbourne will also be seriously considered.
