Medical Receptionist (Permanent, Part-Time opportunity)

Location: Onsite role at Ringwood, Melbourne.
Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time (15 hours/week between Monday to Friday)

SS Human Resources is partnering with Physio Clinic to find a Medical Receptionist who is motivated, organized, and passionate about providing outstanding customer service. This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a supportive and professional healthcare team.

More than 15 years of experience in physiotherapy services, our client has been dedicated to helping the community with expert care and personalized treatments.

Who we are:

Our client team are skilled physiotherapists, committed to delivering personalized care tailored to customer unique needs. Their extensive experience in the field allows them to utilize the latest evidence-based practices, ensuring effective treatment for a wide range of conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing reception calls, appointment bookings, cancellations, and confirmations

Billing, banking reconciliation, and referral management

Maintaining accurate patient records and providing high-level service

Supporting practitioners with clerical tasks and waitlist management

Handling patient feedback and escalating concerns as needed

Participating in marketing, client engagement, and business management activities

Coordinating office supplies and clinic stock

Maintaining cleanliness of the clinic, including reception and treatment rooms

Assisting in onboarding and training new administrative staff

Occasional weekend shifts may be required

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in a medical reception or healthcare administration role (specialist or GP clinic preferred)

Strong computer skills including MS Office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Outstanding time management and prioritisation skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (preferred)

Experience with Cliniko Software, EftPos, and Hicaps

Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients

Organized, proactive, and excellent time management abilities
