We are looking for a friendly Medical Receptionist with previous General Practice experience to join our team.

Complete Care Preston (formerly known as Complete Care Medical Centre) is a family clinic running since 1993. The clinic has moved into a brand-new building and is under new management that is aspiring to grow the clinic to new levels (increasing staff and expanding). We take great pride in providing our community with high quality, patient-centred healthcare. We have a very warm and professional team.

Key responsibilities

Tasks include but are not limited to:
· Providing high quality reception and secretarial services to the patients, doctors and staff
· Attending to patients and visitors in person and on the phone
· Making appointments and maintaining the appointment system
· Creating and maintaining records
· Conveying information to patients in accordance with the clinic’s practice policies
· Carrying out general office and administration duties
· Opening and closing the clinic as required (vacuuming/tidying clinic)

Essential Skills and Attributes
· Previous medical receptionist experience
· Best Practice/Medical Director software experience
· Genuine customer service focus and a confident, caring and professional manner
· Critical attention to detail in processing billing
· Ability to multitask - prioritising patient care - and work calmly in a busy environment
· Strong commitment to protecting patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality
· Strong communication and IT skills
· Ability to work independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Clinic trading hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm. No public holidays.
