Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a confident and professional Regional Manager to lead our dynamic and customer focused operations based in Melbourne. This role will overlap into South Australia as our expansion continues.

As a Regional Manager your role will be to direct, coordinate, supervise and meet service objectives of the customer. You will also be responsible for leading the warehouse and line-haul team to ensure outstanding results are achieved whilst driving a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Drive growth in your area by having strong relationships with existing and potential customers

Ensure customer expectations are met and managed accordingly

Manage warehousing and line-haul activities and ensure work is performed safely

Building and promoting a team environment that works collaboratively

Identify improvements and encourage an innovative culture

Manage daily labour against requirements and projects

Have a hands on approach to your responsibilities and treat this position as if it was your own

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience in a similar position, with responsibility for leading a strong safety culture

A proven track record in a warehousing environment

Ability to prioritise workload and achieve results through people

Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with customers, subcontractors and operational personnel.

Strong customer service focus

Minimum HC Truck Licence and Fork Lift Licence
