About the Opportunity

As a key member of the Project Management Office, the PMO Systems Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of the City of Adelaide’s capital works and strategic project portfolio. This position ensures robust project governance, reporting, and risk management across all stages of the project lifecycle.

You’ll be responsible for managing and enhancing PMO systems and tools, including Power BI and integrations with Council systems such as Technology One. From monitoring performance metrics to resolving PMO system issues, you'll help maintain transparency, improve decision-making, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically savvy professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for enabling project success. You'll work closely with a range of stakeholders, deliver internal system training, and explore emerging technologies, including AI, to optimise tools and processes across the program.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully collate and analyse data to identify trends, problems and successes, and to promote opportunities for improvement.
  • Working knowledge of project management processes in the delivery of Capital Work projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to implement and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
  • Able to develop complex multi-dimensional Power BI data models by leveraging multiple data sources.
