Animal Attendant: Full- time position

“Vets On Crown” In Surry Hills is looking for a full time Animal Attendance.

We pride ourselves in providing outstanding pet care services to our customers. Our hospital is all about team work and servicing our clients in the best possible way.

We have an iconic 3 level building which offers boarding for cats and dogs, grooming and day-care, in addition to our fully equipped Hospital. We have a friendly, happy and energetic team and would love to expand our team with people with the same personality.

The applicants for this position should have below skills:

Teaching animals to obey orders, training animals to stay calm and follow verbal and non-verbal commands.

Dog walking, playing and exercising animals, scheduling and cleaning boarding cages, handling and providing food for different animals according to their diet requirement, administering medication for boarding animals.

Inspecting grooming animals and boarding animals, maintaining each animal’s health report, treating small injuries and reporting any serious health issues to the head Vet Nurse and Veterinaries.

General cleaning of the grooming and boarding area, writing and training of new staff on the usage of chemical and disinfectant material, general management of the boarding and grooming area.
