For over 5 years we have been offering premium dog walking, holiday care, and tailored pet care solutions that put animal welfare first.
As our business continues to grow, we’re excited to welcome a Senior Animal Attendant to our passionate and professional team. It is essential that you will be able to grow within the team and commit to the role for a minimum of 2 years to provide stability for our team and clients.

About the Role
This is a hands-on, vital role that goes beyond basic pet sitting. As our Senior Animal Attendant & 2IC, you’ll lead by example, mentor junior staff, and uphold the high standards our clients trust us for.
Key responsibilities:
Travel throughout the Hills District caring for pets in their homes
Deliver tailored services that focus on enrichment, trust building and safety
Mentor junior team members and assist in onboarding and training
Provide in-home pet care including feeding, walking, enrichment, and health checks
Walk no more than 3 small dogs at a time, or 1 large dog per walk
Deliver real-time updates to clients via our app (photos, videos, summaries)
Maintain a clean and safe environment for all pets
Communicate with clients professionally and compassionately
Essential criteria to be considered:
Minimum 1 year experience in a pet care role (kennel hand, animal attendant, or vet nurse)
Certificate III/IV in Animal Studies, Vet Nursing, or similar
Full working rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship)
Valid driver’s license and reliable car
Local to the Hills District (for reliability and reduced travel)
Available during peak periods like Christmas and Easter
Physically fit, injury free and confident handling all breeds, including XL dogs
Clear communicator with great time management
Friendly, professional, and able to work independently
Highly desirable skills:
Prior leadership or mentoring experience
Familiarity with reactive, senior, or special needs pets
Proactive, friendly, and professional attitude
Ability to work independently and use initiative
