Our client is a large, well established, Tier 1 Remedial Building Company that has been specialising in Residential and Commercial Remedial Building projects and Façade Re-cladding projects for over 50 years working across NSW and QLD.

The Role
Our client currently has an exciting permanent employment opportunity for a Compliance Manager with direct experience in Remedial Building works to join their team. This person will be coming from a trade background working in Remedial Building or Cladding Replacement works. People holding other QA & QC Roles within Remedial Building will also be considered.

Reporting directly into the General Manager and Directors, this Compliance Manager's main responsibilities is to ensure all projects meet compliance, quality and building standards.

Main responsibilities

• Lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement working with the contract leadership team to deliver and ensure contractual quality KPIs are being monitored and managed effectively.
• Ensure quality is maintained across multiple projects by completing regular QA & QC site checks.
• Completion of QA & QC documentation / reporting for Management
• Collaborative approach with Site Management and Site Staff to rectify works that don't meet company standards.
• Govern contract quality improvement initiatives across all team functions facilitating vendor audits in collaboration with commercial and performance team.
• Lead investigations root cause analysis on quality related incidents and development of QI action plans.
• Uphold company quality and safety standards

What are we looking for?

• Essential - Minimum 6 years’ local (Australia) experience working in the Remedial Building space
• Essential Experience - All aspects of Remedial Building - Concrete Repair, Concrete Cancer, Protective Coatings, Waterproofing, and Cladding Replacement.
• Essential - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Construction Management or a related field.
• A hands-on and collaborative approach to Compliance working with the project teams to ensure positive outcomes.
• Work with integrity and dedication to forge strong relationships.
• Strong ability to influence and lead teams.
• Full NSW Drivers Licence
• Construction OHS White Card
• Full Australian Working Rights - No VISA Sponsorship
