About the role

EPICURE at Brisbane City Hall is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Event & Sales Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of events and supporting the sales team to drive revenue growth for our operations at Brisbane City Hall. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, liaising with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional event experiences.

What you'll be doing

Liaise with clients to understand their event requirements and coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue setup, catering, and AV equipment

Prepare event proposals, contracts, and other sales documents to secure new bookings

Manage the events calendar and ensure effective scheduling and resource allocation

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders

Support the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities

Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event planning and delivery process

Ensure events are delivered to the highest standard and in line with EPICURE's brand and quality values

What we're looking for

Proven experience in an event coordination or sales support role, ideally within the hospitality or venue management industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders

Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Proficient in using Momentus (Ungerboeck)

A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable event experiences

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required to support event delivery
